Welcome~

If you’re struggling to adjust to our rapidly changing world, searching for your unique path, purpose, and the inner guidance to lead you through the chaos — just know you aren’t alone.

Today’s challenges are extraordinary and unprecedented, leading into a future that’s never been so uncertain.

So please don’t underestimate what you’re dealing with. It’s no wonder collective stress levels have never been higher and continue to rise.

In response, I offer phone or in-person support based on the principles of mindfulness — compassionate, present moment self-awareness — combined with cognitive and behavioral stress reduction techniques. Sessions are typically 30-60 minutes depending on your needs and preferences.

We’ll cut through the confusion to find what’s true for you with 3 goals in mind:

Relaxation

  • Create a nurturing time-out to focus on yourself, share and assess your concerns in a calm, supportive and safe place.

Renewal

  • Restore confidence, balance and well-being based on awareness of your deepest needs, unique personal resources and inner guidance.

Reinvention

  • Identify and maximize the expanded possibilities that open up as you develop new and more effective self-care and coping skills.

And more.  We’ll make our work about what you want it to be.

If you’d like to explore the possibilities of working together, call or email (no texts, please) to arrange an initial phone consultation at no charge.

Warmly,
France Kozlik, M.A.

Trust the wait. Embrace the uncertainty. Enjoy the beauty of becoming. When nothing is certain, anything is possible.

Background and Training

I received my M.A. in clinical counseling and research from the University of Chicago, entering private practice in 1985.

I’ve studied and practiced mindfulness-based therapies ever since, including EMDR, Focusing and Hakomi.

I’m fascinated by the possibilities and process of personal expansion in everyday life, especially how we find purpose, strength and direction through periods of fear, confusion, loss and grief, emerging stronger for our efforts.

Other professional specialties include couples counseling and communication coaching. Visit Relationship Coaching and Resources to learn more.

I also offer non-denominational spiritual support uniting mindfulness, psychology and spirituality.
